Missouri`s Blue Dutchess was a beautiful, grey dapple in her younger days. She has turned quite light at this point but she is in incredible shape. Dutchess is a direct Missouri Traveler daughter (sire of many world champions). My daughter showed Dutchess at eighteen years old and she won all the performance classes she entered. This mare has a beautiful head and great, big gorgeous eyes. She was on a Canadian jumping team when she was 12-15 years of age. This 14.3 hand horse was able to jump five feet and was used in eventing. Obviously, the other riders were not aware she was a fox trotter. This mare, twenty-two years old, has not slowed at all at this time and has been a perfect picture of health her entire life.
This mare produced The Real McCoy (1986 - 1st in Ladies 2 year old, Ava, MO & in 1986 was Reserve Amateur 2 year old Futurity, Mid-America). We have used her as a trail horse, jumping horse, and in many other activities.
